Lightship is Niantic’s powerful Augmented Reality Developer Kit (ARDK), that equips developers around the world with their state of the art technology, enabling creators to merge AR content with the outside world. Not sure what that means? We didn’t entirely understand ourselves when we were first presented with this project.
Niantic came to us to provide a full scope branding kit: naming, strategy and positioning, visual identity, and visual guidelines for partner agencies to reference during implementation.
Our years of working together on the Niantic brand made this project one of our most thoughtful, thorough, and collaborative design projects to date.
